TITLE: Planetary Chat

RECOMMENDED AGE GROUP: Level 2

CHARACTERS: Astronaut, Children (2),The Sun, Mercury, Venus, The Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto

SYNOPSIS (SIMPLE STORY OUTLINE): The sun wants to know about all the planets because they always go around him and he doesn’t know anything about them. So he calls them for a meeting and they tell the sun the most important information about themselves.

CHARACTER OBJECTIVES (WHAT DOES EACH CHARACTER WANT?):

THE SUN: he wants to know about the planets.

THE PLANETS: they want to say the most important things about themselves.

PLUTO: he wants to complain because now he is considered as a dwarf planet and he is very sad.

SCENE BREAKDOWN (WHERE? WHEN? WHAT HAPPENS?):

WHERE?: In the Solar System, in the Milky Way, In the Universe.

WHEN? Year 2012

WHAT HAPPENS? All the planets have a meeting with the sun to talk about themselves. The sun is happy because now he knows a lot about the planets that go around him.

ACT 1

SCENE 1

An astronaut appears in the moon narrating that the sun is going to have a meeting with the planets and the reason of this meeting.

SCENE 2

The sun and the planets appear on stage and they start talking about themselves.

SCENE 3

Now the sun knows a lot about his neighbors, the planets, and he is very happy because after hundreds and hundreds of years being the center of the Solar System now they are friends.
